  • We recommend maintaining your coasters with Gilly’s Australia Chopping Board Oil, which we use for our products and have available for purchase.

    Wipe the coasters down when required with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Do not submerge your coaster in water. Do not place your coaster in a dishwasher nor leave it to soak in water. To maintain your coaster, it will need re-oiling with a food-safe wood treatment oil when required. Ensure that you follow the instructions provided by the product you choose. If the grain becomes raised and rough sand the board with 240grit sandpaper and re-oil to restore to its former glory.

  • Please note that all our timber is hand selected for each board, however as American Oak timber is a natural material it will vary in both colour and grain to the photos above. The timber may also range from a pale straw colour to a slight pink tone to a golden hue. As with all natural materials, American Oak is affected by light and overtime the character and colour will change slightly. These natural features are a unique and beautiful characteristic of the timber. Please also keep in mind timber can expand and contract due to varying temperature and environmental conditions in your home.   • We offer free shipping Australia wide for orders over $200. Alternatively a flat rate of $12.95 delivery fee applies. There may be some exclusions for very remote locations.
